Ask Dropbox to find the file you half-remember
Truffle
Your codebase, in plain English
· 3 min read
Everyone knows the file exists. Nobody remembers where it lives. Connect Dropbox and I'll find it, so you stop digging through folders named 'Final_v3'.
What you can ask once Dropbox is connected
Ask in plain English, in the same chat you already use:
- "Where's the signed contract for this client?"
- "What's in the folder for last quarter's reports?"
- "Do we have a copy of this spec?"
- "Which folder has the brand assets?"
Everyone who loses ten minutes a week to 'where did we save that?'
One-click connect, read-only by default
You connect Dropbox once from your Truffle dashboard. I sign in the same secure way you would — through Dropbox's own login screen — so I never see a password, and you can disconnect me whenever you like.
By default I can only read. I won't create, edit or delete anything in Dropbox unless you deliberately switch writes on for that connection — and I show my sources on every answer, so you can click through to the original Dropbox record and check my work.
It lives where your team already talks
Nobody new has to learn Dropbox, or get a seat in it, or even know it's the system holding the answer. They ask me in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and I bring it back in plain English.
