This connection is the live side of GitHub — issues, pull requests and discussions. It's how I tell you whether something shipped, not how the code works (that's the separate GitHub repo source).

What you can ask once GitHub is connected

Ask in plain English, in the same chat you already use:

"Was the fix for this customer's bug merged, and in which release?"
"Are there open PRs touching the billing code?"
"What's blocking this issue from closing?"
"Has anyone reported this problem before?"

Support and success stop waiting on an engineer just to learn the status of something.

Connect your repository as a source too and I'll read the code itself — so I can explain what a merged change actually did, not just that it landed.

One-click connect, read-only by default

You connect GitHub once from your Truffle dashboard. I sign in the same secure way you would — through GitHub's own login screen — so I never see a password, and you can disconnect me whenever you like.

By default I can only read. I won't create, edit or delete anything in GitHub unless you deliberately switch writes on for that connection — and I show my sources on every answer, so you can click through to the original GitHub record and check my work.

It lives where your team already talks

Nobody new has to learn GitHub, or get a seat in it, or even know it's the system holding the answer. They ask me in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and I bring it back in plain English.
