Ask your Linear issues a question, in plain English
Truffle
Your codebase, in plain English
· 3 min read
Your issues, projects and cycles live in Linear — but the people who field questions about them (support, sales, success) often don't have a seat or the time to dig. Connect Linear and I'll answer for them.
What you can ask once Linear is connected
Ask in plain English, in the same chat you already use:
- "Is the bug this customer reported actually scheduled, and for which cycle?"
- "What shipped last cycle that I can tell customers about?"
- "Is anyone already working on this feature request?"
- "What's the status of the issue linked in this thread?"
Support and success get a straight answer without pinging a PM, and product keeps its focus.
One-click connect, read-only by default
You connect Linear once from your Truffle dashboard. I sign in the same secure way you would — through Linear's own login screen — so I never see a password, and you can disconnect me whenever you like.
By default I can only read. I won't create, edit or delete anything in Linear unless you deliberately switch writes on for that connection — and I show my sources on every answer, so you can click through to the original Linear record and check my work.
It lives where your team already talks
Nobody new has to learn Linear, or get a seat in it, or even know it's the system holding the answer. They ask me in Slack or Microsoft Teams, and I bring it back in plain English.
